John Coltrane was a master musician who practiced hours daily to achieve his level of excellence.

Our efforts connect that legacy with the community of young people striving to hone their skills and develop their craft.

A charitable tee-off

Championship courses. Community impact.

Join us for the Inaugural Coltrane JazzFest Golf Experience on Friday, September 4 at the Grandover Resort as we tee off the 15th Annual John Coltrane International Jazz & Blues Festival (JCIJBF).

This charitable golfing event takes place at the heart of the Grandover Resort, where two Championship Courses—the East and West, co-designed by David Graham and Gary Panks—set the tone for a day of friendly competition.

The Coltrane JazzFest Golf Experience benefits The Friends of John Coltrane, Inc., the nonprofit organization behind the JCIJBF and related educational programming. The Friends of John Coltrane engages leaders in local business, arts, civics, and nonprofits to celebrate the legacy of the iconic saxophonist, composer, and High Point, NC native son, John Coltrane.
