What COVID safety measures will be taken to keep me safe?
In order to create the best experience for attendees and artists, The Friends of John Coltrane will follow all recommended CDC guidelines in order to keep the public safe. By attending The John Coltrane International Jazz & Blues Festival, you agree to comply with any guidelines put in place by the event organizers. Can I bring my kids?
Yes. The Festival is family-friendly, and children ages 6 and under are admitted free.

Are strollers or wagons allowed?
Yes. Strollers and wagons are permitted, but all items are subject to search upon entry.

Are diaper bags allowed?
Yes. Diaper bags are permitted, but all bags are subject to search upon entry.

Can I leave the Festival and come back later?
Yes. Re-entry is allowed as long as your wristband remains securely fastened on your wrist.

Can guests bring sealed water bottles?
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted at the Festival.

I have dietary restrictions. Can I bring my own food or beverages?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted at the Festival. However, exceptions for medical and dietary restrictions may be accommodated if Festival vendors do not offer options that meet your needs. Please contact [email protected] in advance to discuss your situation.

Can I bring my pet?
No. Pets are not permitted at the Festival. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are welcome.

May I bring an umbrella?
Yes. Umbrellas are permitted for protection from the elements. Please be considerate of other guests and lower or collapse umbrellas during performances.

Can I bring a camera?
Professional cameras and camera equipment are not permitted at the Festival. Guests are welcome to take photos and videos on their smartphones for personal use.

Will there be chairs for guests to use?
Seating is provided for SuperVIP, VIP, and Premium Seated ticket holders. All other guests are welcome to bring their own chairs.

Are lawn chairs allowed? Are there any restrictions on chair height or style?
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs of any style, as long as they do not interfere with the experience of other guests. Please be courteous to fellow Festival attendees when choosing where and how to set up your chair.

Is the Festival accessible?
Yes. We offer golf cart transportation assistance from the main parking area to locations throughout the Festival grounds.

SuperVIP, VIP, and Premium Seated sections include seating and designated wheelchair-accessible areas. These ticket options are identified on the Festival map and available for purchase online.

We also offer an Accessibility Section within Premium General Admission. This area is conveniently located near the transportation hub, situated on a flat paved surface, and offers clear sightlines to the stage and screens, with proximity to sound sources. Accessibility Section tickets are available for purchase online.

How much is parking?
VIP parking is included with SuperVIP and VIP tickets.

General Admission parking is limited and available on-site on a first-come, first-served basis for $25 per vehicle, payable by card upon arrival.

General Admission parking is also available for advance purchase online. Buying in advance can save time at the gate, and Two-Day parking passes purchased online include a discount.

A limited number of VIP Parking Passes are also available to General Admission ticket holders as an advance purchase only. These parking upgrades will not be sold at the gate.

Prohibited Items

By purchasing this ticket and attending the John Coltrane Jazz and Blues Festival, you agree to follow all of the policies and procedures set forth by the festival and the City of High Point.

The Friends of John Coltrane, the non-profit organization which sponsors the Festival, reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject any person for any reason including any person whose conduct the management deems to be disorderly or intrusive upon the enjoyment of other guests.

Security uses metal detectors & visual inspection of everyone and every bag entering the festival grounds to keep us safe as we enjoy the music.
