2020 will mark the 10th year the Friends of John Coltrane have organized the John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival. The dates for the anniversary year are Saturday, Sept. 5th and Sunday, Sept. 6th. The Festival brings the world’s top jazz and blues artists to perform live in High Point, NC. Thank you to each and every ticket buyer who has attended a past festival. Thanks, also, to the many businesses and organizations that have supported the Coltrane Jazzfest as sponsors.
Tens of thousands have been entertained through these years. We have also given away almost 100 instruments to aspiring student musicians, raised awareness of the importance of John Coltrane’s legacy and his connection to the City of High Point while providing a high profile performance venue for local and regional musicians. We do not solely depend on ticket sales to present a festival of the magnitude to which this festival has grown. Our goal is to keep growing.
